Mtre Gilles Laflamme, notary, LL.L., D.D.N., graduated in notarial law from the University of Ottawa in 1978. This experienced notary is a leader in the area of rural property, such as cottages, as well as in co-ownership law and is often involved in the major real estate development projects of the region.
He has been specializing in this field since he joined our association, and in 1980 he studied condominium law at the University of Montreal, a field he taught at the University of Ottawa and presented to his colleagues at a training session of the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
For this experienced jurist, who comes from a family of businessmen, the respect of individual rights is the backbone of any declaration of co-ownership and of any project to convert to co-ownership.
He continues to collaborate with the firm since his retirement, acting as legal advisor for mandates in his field of expertise. Me Laflamme also worked closely with Me Katherine Lauzon during the two years preceding his retirement so that she could take good care of his clients.
Member of La Chambre des notaires du Québec since 1978
