Mtre John Lapierre, notary, B.A. Crim., LL.L., D.D.N., earned a bachelor’s degree with a specialization in criminology before completing his licence in civil law at the University of Ottawa in 1998 and earning his notarial law diploma from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1999. Admitted as a notary in January 2000, John has since then been focusing on his objective to further develop his experience in non-traditional legal fields.
Showing a keen interest in business law and tax law, he keeps acquiring knowledge and improving his expertise to offer quality services tailored to meet the needs of the firm’s clients. He is committed to the region and desires to create relationships based on trust and respect with entrepreneurs and organizations of the Outaouais region.
He has been a member of the BNI section Les Aristôts for several years. In September 2017, he was elected chairman of PME INTER Notaires, the largest network of notarial firms in Québec, with its 42 firms and over 240 notaries. He will be chairman for three years.
